ARM, a 17-year-old teenager who was found in Jujuy after being missing for nearly three months, is now in the process of returning to her home in General Rodríguez. Her mother, Jorgelina Miranda, stated that the young woman “suffered abuse.” In an interview with the Argentine News Agency, the teenager's mother revealed how her daughter is doing. She reportedly left with Cristian Velazco, a 35-year-old man from Salta, with whom she lived for two months last September. Their relationship ended with a gender-based violence complaint. With a concerning relationship history, Miranda revealed to this medium that the commissioner in charge of the case, Carlos Silva—who has been part of the investigation since the complaint was filed—traveled to meet the minor and rest in Salta for the night, while this Saturday, the 20th, they will return to Buenos Aires and are expected to arrive next Sunday, December 21st. Miranda's account stated that the teenager “is okay” and that the medical report “came back all clear.” “She is fine health-wise and is not pregnant,” the young woman's mother concluded. Meanwhile, Velazco has been identified with an international Blue Alert, making him a person of interest for the purpose of locating him and gathering information for the criminal investigation, as he was mentioned in the minor's farewell letter before she left. Previously, the family released a statement where they claimed: “On September 18th, a violent adult took her from her home. She was deceived and manipulated by 35-year-old Cristian Velazco.” However, it is still unknown by what means the young woman managed to get to the place where she was found. “He said she was mistreated and they cut her hair short. She is very thin,” the mother added.
